Supramolecular gel strategy-based nanomaterials with room temperature spin transition

چکیده
Novel [Fe(Rtrz)3](SO3CF3)2 based SCO nanomaterials were fabricated through the supramolecular gel strategy. By modifying assembly conditions, surfactant or polymer-free nanomaterial with different sizes and morphologies could be prepared. Furthermore, their spin crossover behavior was investigated by optical, magnetic Mössbauer measurements. The transition features for nano-sized materials presented room temperature a hysteresis loop, which mainly attributed to intermolecular van der Waals interactions of tris(dodecyloxy)-benzamide introduced on structure [Fe(Rtrz)3](SO3CF3)2.

Above room temperature spin transition in a metallo-supramolecular coordination oligomer/polymer.
By use of a metallo-supramolecular concept, a linear iron(ii) coordination chain [Fe(II)(L)](n)(BF(4))(2n) (L = 1,4-bis(1,2':6',1''-bispyrazolylpyridin-4'-yl)benzene) was rationally designed and synthesized. The molecular chain shows a reversible spin transition at 323 K with a ca. 10 K wide hysteresis loop.

Self-assemblyings of surfactant-encapsulated Wells-Dawson polyoxometalates (SEPs) nanobuilding blocks in butanone and esters yielded supramolecular gels showing thermo and photo responsive properties. The gels can be further polymerized if unsaturated esters were used and subsequently electrospinned into nanowires and non-woven mats. The as-prepared non-woven mats have a Young's modulus as high...
متن کاملA supramolecular gel based on a glycosylated amino acid derivative with the properties of gel to crystal transition.
Here we report the generation of a novel gelator from a glycosylated amino acid derivative, which contained three structural units, an aromatic residue, a carbohydrate moiety and a tert-butyl group in a single molecule. These structural units can promote the supramolecular self-assembly of this gelator in both aprotic and protic solvents via coordinated π-π stacking, multiple hydrogen binding a...
متن کاملRoom-temperature spin thermoelectrics in metallic films
Considering metallic films at room temperature, we present the first theoretical study of the spin Nernst and thermal Edelstein effects that takes into account dynamical spin-orbit coupling, i.e., direct spin-orbit coupling with the vibrating lattice (phonons) and impurities. This gives rise to a novel process, namely, a dynamical side-jump mechanism, and to dynamical Elliott-Yafet spin relaxat...
